pH Correction system - Re-circulation

​

Re-circulation is used in multiple applications from wastewater to process water correction, using a re-circulation pump rated to the duty required the process water is sampled for pH value and adjusted if required as it is sent back to the tank.

​

This process can be controlled by a 7 day time clock or a PLC. For more advanced applications, we offer many options for the re-circulation system including:

  • Data logging

  • Remote monitoring/control

  • Dual pH monitors

  • Temp monitoring

  • Conductivity monitoring and control 

  • In-tank agitators 

  • Filtration of process water for reuse

  • Chemical tanks and bunding

pH Correction system - Batch

​

A batch cycle is a simple 3 step process to neutralize plant pH value

​

  1. Fill batch tank with plant wastewater

  2. Adjust to required pH range 

  3. Send corrected water to final destination (reuse or sewer)

​

The complete batch process takes between 45-60min and systems are sized to the plant output per hour. For large outputs over short periods ie; only producing wastewater over a 6 hour period, then a large holding tank is to be used to collect water from plant before been transfer into the batch tank for correction and discharge.

​

All batch cycles final pH, Temp values and volume of water are recorded along with the time and date, this is stored on a local USB stick and can be assessed with remote access to the system if enabled.

pH Correction system - Inline

​

Inline correction is most commonly used on clean process / potable water to make minor changes to the pH value as the water is flowing from one destination to the other ie; tank to tap.

​

Inline pH correction may be used for the following applications:

​

  • Adjusting to a pH range suited to disinfection

  • Agriculture pH range to suit nutrients uptake 

  • Process water reuse pH neutralization 

​

Inline pH systems can be supplied as complete all in one system, ready for connection to the excising system. It can also come as a prefabricated pipe that can be installed into the system or in component form to be fitted into existing pipework.
